He took an excellent position during the penalty which allowed him to see that the foul was commited which allowed him to order a retake of the penalty and disallow the goal that just got scored via the penalty

All of the cards that were issued during the match were correct. The first card was given to Arsenal in the 23rd minute during a corner kick. The second card was given to Arsenal player for pushing everton players during the penalty which was retaken. The final card was given in the 68 match to everton for a reckless foul

Both referees did very well during the game and did not make any mistakes. They were not directly involved in the game and therefore they wasn't under the spot light. They correctly spotted a good offside in the 79th minute.
